Catherine Rossignol has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Catherine started their career at Lallemand in 1994 as a Production Engineering specialist and worked there until 1997. Catherine then joined the National Research Council Canada in 2008 as an Information Specialist and later became the Head of the NRC Information Centre. In their role, they managed the information centre, supervised a team of four employees, and handled collection management. Catherine also worked as a Client and Research Librarian, where they coordinated the Interlibrary Loan System DOCLINE for Canada and provided virtual reference services in Life Sciences. Catherine continued their tenure at NRC and became the Coordinator of Services Implementation in 2011. In this role, they worked on various SharePoint projects, focusing on collaboration, information management, and electronic content management. Catherine joined Larochelle Groupe Conseil in 2014 as a Senior Advisor, and later that year, they also started working at PSP Investments as a Business Analyst. In 2016, they were promoted to the role of Senior Business Analyst at PSP Investments.
Catherine Rossignol holds a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) degree from Université de Montréal, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Their field of study during this period was Library and Information Science. Prior to that, they pursued an Engineer's degree in Biochemical Engineering from Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse from 1988 to 1994. In addition to their degrees, Catherine also obtained the certification of Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) from PMI in October 2012.
