Albert Prieto has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Albert started their career as a Senior Design Engineer at the Los Angeles County Flood Control District in 1973 before transitioning to the role of Mayor and Council Member at the City of Moorpark in 1983. In 1993, they became the Principal Engineer and Vice President at William Rose & Associates, where they stayed until 2005. At Psomas, they held the positions of Senior Project Manager from 2005 to 2012 and Senior Project Engineer from 2013 onwards.

Albert Prieto completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, between 1970 and 1973.
