Jeremy Pryes has a strong background in the brewing industry, having founded and served as the Head Brewer at Pryes Brewing Company and later founding Idyll Forest Artisan Ales. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Jeremy worked as a Technical Analyst at Aimia Inc, where they maintained and supported Macintosh users and administered Apple xServes. Jeremy also has experience as a CEO, Art Director, and IT professional at underTHESTOVE.com and as a Network and Computer Systems Administrator at alwaysBEthere Inc./Victoria's Secret. Earlier in their career, Jeremy worked as a Mac Genius at Apple Computer and as a Certified Apple Technician at Camera Corner Connecting Point.

Jeremy Pryes obtained an Associates degree in Graphic Design and Marketing from NorthEast Wisconsin Technical College from 2000 to 2003. Jeremy then pursued an Intensive Brewing Science and Engineering (IBS&E) degree in Chemical Engineering at the American Brewers Guild from 2015 to 2016. In 2012, they became a BJCP Recognized Tasting Judge, although no specific degree or field of study is associated with this qualification.
