John Carter is an accomplished professional in consulting and procurement with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at Proxima since February 2023, John previously held multiple positions at GEP Worldwide from March 2019 to February 2023, progressing from Senior Associate to Senior Manager in Consulting. Prior to that, John worked at IBM from May 2016 to March 2019 as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Procurement Consultant. In 2016, John was recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar at the Forbes Under 30 Summit. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Procurement Analyst at MetLife and a Supply Chain Analyst at Collins Aerospace. John holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations and Supply Chain from North Carolina State University.
