Rich Bard is the Director of Business Operations at Prowler since October 2023, overseeing comprehensive business operations, including financial management, HR, and compliance for a distributed team. From October 2020 to July 2023, Rich held the same position at Verica, where responsibilities mirrored those at Prowler. Prior to that, Rich served as Executive Director at Scarborough Land Trust from November 2017 to October 2020 and at Downeast Coastal Conservancy from January 2014 to October 2017, managing finance, human resources, and community relations. Rich began their career in wildlife conservation as a Biologist for the State of Maine, a Wildlife Technician for the Arizona Game and Fish Department, an Animal Manager at Audubon Nature Institute, and a Zookeeper at the Wildlife Conservation Society. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science/Natural Resources from Cornell University, earned between 1989 and 1993.
