Johannes Vermeulen has extensive experience in urban management and planning, currently serving as an Omgevingsmanager at Provincie Overijssel since November 2020, overseeing projects such as the Kanaal Almelo - de Haandrik and the Sanering Blekerijweg. Prior to this role, Johannes worked at Gemeente Deventer for over a decade in various capacities, including Wijkmanager and Juridisch planologisch medewerker, where responsibilities encompassed community engagement, coordination of land use planning procedures, and enhancing neighborhood livability and safety.
