Martijn Weening is a seasoned sustainability consultant with extensive experience in guiding organizations towards CO2 neutrality and circularity. Currently employed by Provincie Noord-Holland since July 2019, Martijn is instrumental in developing strategies for sustainable practices. Previously, at SGS Search Consultancy from January 2010 to June 2019, Martijn specialized in sustainable project management and facilitated transitions to the Circular Economy. Martijn's earlier roles include project support at TomTom Telematics, where the launch of a new division was executed, and a master thesis on the social impacts of cricket at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, complemented by volunteer work in Barcelona and early career experience as a technical consultant. Martijn holds an MSc in Culture, Organisation and Management and additional qualifications in Sustainable Business Management and Commercial Technical Engineering.
