Joyce Nakashima is an experienced professional in health information and clinical IT with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a 6 Sigma Blackbelt at Providence Health & Services since July 2012, Joyce also holds dual roles as an Epic AC for the ClinDoc Team and Lead Clinical IT Analyst at Valley Medical Center, positions held since March 2008. Previous experience includes serving as a Lean Champion at GE Healthcare from January 1999 to February 2008 and at IDX Systems Corp from 1998 to 2008. Joyce Nakashima earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Information from Seattle University between 1977 and 1981.
