Jarryd A. has a wealth of experience in the fields of software engineering, operations, product management, and people operations. In 2009, they began their career as a Fabrication Engineer at the Research and Engineering Center for Unmanned Vehicles. In 2010, they joined the United States Marine Corps as a Marine Corps Intelligence Officer and was assigned to the 1st Marine Division. In 2014, they attended the MARSOC Individual Training Course and subsequently the MARSOC Team Commanders Course, where they became a Special Operations Team Commander. In 2016, they became Operations Officer and Assistant Operations Officer for the 1st Marine Raider Battalion. In 2018, they joined Figure as a Senior Product Manager and Senior Manager of People Operations. In 2020, they worked as a Senior System Engineer at Lockheed Martin. In 2021, they returned to Figure as an Associate Software Engineer. In 2022, they joined Provenance Blockchain Foundation as an Associate Software Engineer. Additionally, since 2017, they have been involved with The Honor Foundation, an MBA-level leadership development program for Special Forces Operators transitioning from military to civilian careers.

Jarryd A. earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2023. Jarryd also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aerospace Engineering from the same university, which they obtained in 2009. Additionally, they hold five certifications: Command and Staff Graduate from the United States Marine Corps (2017), Expeditionary Warfare School Graduate from the United States Marine Corps (2015), Operations Tactics Instructor from the Marine Corps Tactical Operations Group (2011), Critical Thinking/Structured Analysis from the Defense Intelligence Agency (2011), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance (2018).
