Klaas Langhout has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Klaas is currently serving as the Business Development Director at Proton Ventures since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Solar Consultant from 2021 to 2022, where they provided consulting services in the solar industry. From 2016 to 2021, they held various roles at ESBE Europe, including Director Solar Services and Sales Manager B2B/B2G, where they focused on project development and pursued medium to large-scale solar plants. Klaas also has extensive experience at Emerson Process Management, where they held multiple roles such as Sales Director Systems Europe Daniel Measurement & Control, Commercial Director Global Systems Daniel Measurement and Control, and Operations Director Daniel Measurement and Control. Klaas was responsible for various tasks including sales, operations, and project management. Additionally, they worked at Dyme Computers for Life as an Account Manager/Business Consultant from 1996 to 1999. In this role, they managed existing accounts, developed new business accounts, and led solution projects.

Klaas Langhout attended Andreas College from 1986 to 1993, where they completed their secondary education. Klaas then pursued Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 1993 to 1995. Finally, Klaas studied Technical Business Administration and Management at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 1996.
