Mike has business education credentials from Harvard and Kellogg Business School and technical education from NAIT and University of Wyoming in Petroleum Engineering. Mike managed growing teams whose assets generally exceeded 100,000 BOE (barrel oil equivalent) operated production per day within various countries, price environments, and challenges. Saskatchewan-born, the latter half of Mike’s globe-spanning career was mainly executive in function and began 30+ years ago as a Petroleum Engineer with Texaco. Mike is semi-retired now and interested to help Proton successfully market, grow and advance the unique hydrogen energy technology into a significant business that helps provide clean sustainable energy to the world. Mike’s other industry affiliations included SPE, API Upstream Committee, NOIA Board of Directors and Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers Board of Directors.
