Armin Huseinovic has over 20 years of work experience in engineering, research and management. Armin began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1999, where they were involved in research on active noise control in a duct and in research on multiple Internet traffic flows in a TCP router. Armin then worked as a Co-op Engineer at Pratt & Whitney in 1999, where they conducted feasibility and economic analysis of implementing innovative boron carbide or diamond-like carbon surface coating technologies into gear manufacturing processes. In 2000, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer I at Narad Networks Inc., where they were a member of the mechanical engineering team in charge of design, analysis and environmental testing of electromechanical assemblies. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer II at Windspeed Access Inc., where they were in charge of mechanical design in the development of a 60GHz narrow beam self aligning antenna. Armin then worked as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Tufts University from 2003 to 2005, where they worked on MEMS fabrication utilizing both standard semiconductor 2D layout techniques and newly developed techniques for applications in BioMEMS production. From 2005 to 2016, they worked at Axcelis Technologies as an Engineering/Group Manager - Ion Implanter, End Station and a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they had design and computational analysis responsibilities. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been the Director of Engineering at ProTom International.

Armin Huseinovic's education history began in 1988 when they attended Elektrotehnicki Skolski Centar Jaroslav Cerni, Pofalici - Sarajevo, where they obtained a High School degree in Electrical Technician, Electrician, and High Voltage Power. In 1993, they attended the College of Architecture at the University of Sarajevo for two years. From 1996 to 2000, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Finally, from 2003 to 2005, they obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering - Bio MEMS from Tufts University.
