Nicholas Robinson is an experienced Applications Engineer at Proto Labs since June 2013, where responsibilities include utilizing proprietary software to convert 3D CAD models for advanced manufacturing processes such as additive and CNC machining and injection molding. Previous roles at Proto Labs include Designer and CAD Analyst, contributing to the same core functions. Prior to Proto Labs, Nicholas Robinson worked in Operations at Sanford Center from September 2011 to April 2013 and served on the Grounds Crew at I.S.D. #877 from 2006 to 2012. Nicholas Robinson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Prototype Engineering from Bemidji State University, completed in 2013, and also studied Prototype Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires in 2008.
