Mark Dirsa has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in manufacturing companies. Mark currently holds the position of Director of CNC Operations at Protolabs, a position they have been in since 2015. Prior to this, they worked at Koehler-Bright Star LLC as President from 2007 to 2015, where they focused on driving organic growth and improving profitability. Mark also served as Vice President of Operations at the same company from 2000 to 2007, during which they realigned and reengineered the business for better performance. Before that, Mark worked as the Plant Manager at Colson Caster Corporation from 1996 to 2000, where they successfully turned around the company's performance through operational transformations and supply chain strategies. Mark started their career at Thomas & Betts Corporation in 1995 as an Operations Manager, overseeing the startup of a new manufacturing facility. Mark also held the position of Manufacturing Manager at M/A-COM Interconnect Division of AMP from 1990 to 1995, where they managed a significant product line transfer and achieved ISO-9001 certification.
Mark Dirsa received an Associate's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology/Technician from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1983. Mark then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, completing their degree in 1987. In addition, they obtained a Certificate in 80/20 Management and Direct Cost from Marmon College. Mark also attended GE Crotonville to acquire managerial skills, but the duration of their enrollment is unspecified.
