Jaap van den Akker has extensive experience in the Protestant church, serving as the predikant for Christus Triumfatorkerk in Den Haag since September 2018. Previously, Jaap held various ministerial positions, including predikant for Protestantse Gemeente 'De Hoeksteen' and in the missionaire Pioniersplek "Halte 2717" in Zoetermeer. Jaap also contributed to the Gemeenschappelijke Medezeggenschapsraad Unicoz as chairman, representing primary education stakeholders. In addition, Jaap has worked in educational settings as a religion and worldview teacher and a committee member for the quality assessment of theological education in the Netherlands. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Theology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and further studies at PThU.
