Xiaofeng Zhao is a Design Engineering Intern at Proterra Inc since May 2022, where responsibilities include simulating kinematic movement for bus doors using CATIA and creating automated templates for brackets with integrated ANSI standard GD&T. Prior to this role, Xiaofeng gained experience as a Research and Development Intern at Yokogawa in summer 2020, focusing on flow meter equipment adjustments, K-factor analysis, and product design improvements using SolidWorks. Xiaofeng is currently pursuing a PhD in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University, having previously earned a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, alongside completing a high school diploma at St. Xavier High School.
