Clark Smith has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, notably as a cofounder and CEO of Proteos from November 2003 to October 2010, and currently holds a retired position at the same company since November 2021. Prior roles include serving as Sr. Director of Global Resource Site Operations at Pharmacia, as well as holding senior director positions within the company from 1999 to 2003. Smith began a career at Upjohn Co, progressing from Scientist to Director of Protein Sciences between 1979 and 1999. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Arizona and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno, with additional studies in Chemistry and Biochemistry at Cornell University.
