Chris is a co-founder of Protein Metrics and was the Company’s first President and CEO.

In January of 2017 Chris retired as President and CEO to become a Scientific Advisor for the company.

He has over 25 years of management experience at SRI International, GeneTrace, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and PPD, Inc. Chris also has over 30 years of experience in mass spectrometry and chemical physics. His research has included the original development of label-free protein quantification, protein biomarker discovery, and rapid DNA analysis.

Chris received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and was a post-doctoral student in chemistry and physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
