Brad Strickling serves as Vice President and Senior Counsel at Protective Life since May 2021, focusing on legal support for the Executive Benefits division, including business life insurance products such as COLI and BOLI policies. Prior to this role, Strickling worked as Counsel at Nationwide Financial from March 2014 to May 2021, managing financial services litigation and supporting life insurance offerings. Strickling began a legal career at Cooper & Elliott, LLC, where significant trial experience was gained, including achieving a $1.7 million jury verdict in a securities fraud case, and continued at Carpenter Lipps & Leland LLP, specializing in complex commercial litigation. Strickling holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in Marketing and Logistics and a minor in Economics from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
