John Blaikie currently serves as the HSSEQ Manager for the UK & Americas Cluster at V.Group since July 2023. Previously, John held the position of Head of Safety and Compliance at Condor Ferries from December 2020 to June 2023. John’s extensive experience includes roles such as General App at the Marine Safety Forum from January 2014 to November 2020 and Quality & Environmental Manager at North Star Shipping from September 2012 to October 2020. At North Star Shipping, John managed compliance with ISM, ISPS, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards. Additionally, John was the HSE Manager for Tidewater Marine from August 2008 to September 2012, overseeing operations across multiple countries in Africa. John holds a Master’s degree in Oil and Gas Law from Robert Gordon University.
