Lucas Waldron is an experienced graphics editor and visual investigations producer at ProPublica since July 2017, with earlier roles as a social video and graphics producer. In Spring 2021, Lucas served as a lecturer for "J219: Animating the News" at the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior experience includes a video graphics internship at The New York Times and a video production internship at KQED, along with reporting on local politics for Oakland North. Lucas has also managed content at FWD.us, directed photography for a web series, and assisted in operations for various film festivals. Educationally, Lucas holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Politics and Film Studies from the University of San Francisco.
