Maciej Szpakowski is a software engineer with over 10 years of experience. In 2010, they began working as a freelance software engineer. In 2016, they started working at Lumina Learning as a software engineer and at Researchably as a co-founder, where their mission was to make scientific research more accessible. In 2019, they co-founded Prophecy.io.

Maciej Szpakowski participated in the Fall 2018 Cohort at the University of California, Berkeley through SkyDeck. Maciej also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of Southampton. Additionally, they obtained a Machine Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016.
