Sander Aarts is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in various leadership positions primarily in the technology and energy sectors. Currently serving as an Enterprise Security Architect at Property Exchange Australia Ltd (PEXA) since September 2015, Sander has also held key roles such as Head of Cyber Products, Head of Technical Architecture, and Senior Security Manager within the same organization. Prior experience includes positions as Security Architect at Rio Tinto and Security Manager at AGL Energy. Sander's career spans roles at Accenture Australia, NBN Co Limited, and Telstra, alongside a significant stint focused on traveling during a sabbatical. Sander holds a GIAC - GSEC certification in Information Security from SANS and obtained a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
