Alexandra Banks is an accomplished professional in sustainability and environmental law, currently serving as the EY Global Nature Leader and Partner at EY since April 2019, focusing on sustainable supply chains, modern slavery, deforestation, human rights, ESG risks, and risk-based due diligence. In addition to this role, Alexandra is a Board Member at World Forest ID and a member of the Social Sustainability Roundtable at the Property Council of Australia. Past positions include Senior Policy Officer at the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, Technical Development Manager at Preferred by Nature, and various roles in legal and policy frameworks relating to international forest policy and illegal logging. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws with Honours from The Australian National University, along with advanced qualifications in sustainable finance and public administration.
