Wayne Nelson is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Proofpoint since December 2011, Wayne has held significant engineering leadership positions at NextPage as VP of Engineering from 2002 to December 2011, BlueStep as VP of Engineering from 2000 to 2002, and SunGard as VP of Engineering from 1996 to 1999. Wayne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah between 1990 and 1994.
