Alexander Trampe is a Scientific Support Specialist at PromoCell since September 2019, with extensive experience in the field of cell culture and technical support. Previously, Alexander worked as a Senior Technical Support Specialist at Thermo Scientific from March 2008 to August 2019, focusing on genomics product lines. Alexander's academic background includes a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University Medical Centre Schleswig-Holstein, where involvement in the EU-project “TRIoH” optimized cell-penetrating peptides for drug delivery against HIV. Early career roles included positions as a Scientific Assistant at both the University of Bielefeld, where analysis of cell culture media additives was performed, and BIBITEC GmbH, contributing to the optimization of protein purification processes.
