Jan Sedivy is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of industry experience in the fields of research, engineering, and management, currently serving as a Co-Founder at PromethistAI since November 2019. Sedivy holds multiple positions at the Czech Technical University (CTU) since 2010, including Researcher at the Czech Institute of Cybernetics and Robotics and Engineer in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Previously, Sedivy worked at Google as a Technical Lead Manager and at IBM for several years in managerial and research roles focusing on human language interaction and speech recognition. Sedivy began an academic career as an Assistant Professor, teaching digital signal processing. With an educational background that includes a degree and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague, Sedivy is dedicated to advancing education, research, and entrepreneurship.
