Simone van der Lee is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Redacteur Nieuwsblad Transport at ProMedia Group since January 2022. Prior professional experiences include a role as a Trainee financiële dienstverlening at Novadia from October 2020 to December 2021, and freelance work as a Redacteur Woonvakbladen for Sanders Media between June 2019 and November 2020. Simone has also contributed to NH Media as a Stagiaire regioredactie West-Friesland, conducting journalistic research and writing articles during a short internship in mid-2020. Prior roles at Vakbladen.com involved editorial work focusing on writing articles, interviews, and managing web content from February 2018 to June 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Journalistiek en Nieuwe Media and another Master’s in East Asian Studies, specializing in Chinese, both obtained from Leiden University, along with extensive studies in China. Additionally, Simone has been developing skills as an NLP practitioner since 2016.
