Phuong Phillips is the current Director at Project Glimmer. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Legal Officer at Zynga from September 2017 to July 2022. During their time at Zynga, they were responsible for worldwide legal, compliance and regulatory operations, including corporate governance, commercial contracts, litigation, employment, patent and trademark, M&A and securities laws, privacy, physical and cyber security incident response, and compliance with U.S. and international legal regimes.
Before joining Zynga, Phillips served as Associate General Counsel at Tesla from November 2016 to September 2017. Prior to Tesla, they were the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Head of Corporate Securities at SolarCity from February 2011 to November 2016.
Phillips began their career as a Corporate Attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati from October 2003 to February 2011.
Phuong Phillips has a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law and a BA in Communication Studies with a Specialization in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles.
