Megan Cheah is a dedicated research technician at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, specializing in the investigation of multikinase inhibitor resistance in various cancers under the guidance of Dr. Yan Chuan. In addition, Megan serves as a mentor and database officer for Project Access, supporting students from underprivileged backgrounds in their educational pursuits. Previous experiences include research internships at Nuevocor, the Genome Institute of Singapore, and the Singapore Immunology Network, where Megan engaged in various projects related to gene therapy, Parkinson's disease, and immunological research. Megan Cheah holds a First Class Honours degree in Medical Biosciences from Imperial College London and has participated in multiple internships focused on bioengineering and nanotechnology, pharmaceutical research, and antibiotic resistance.
