Jason Davis has over 20 years of work experience, primarily in the field of Configuration Management and DevOps. Jason has held various roles at different companies, including being a Principal DevOps Engineer at Progress Software since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Release & DevOps Engineer at Ipswitch, Inc. - WhatsUp Gold from 2013 to 2019. Jason also served as a Configuration Specialist at Official Payments in 2012. Earlier in their career, Jason worked at ERDAS, Inc. as a Config. & Release Engineer from 2006 to 2012, and at UPS Supply Chain Solutions as a Sr. Configuration Manager in 2006. Jason started their career at Accelstream, LLC. as a Manager of Customer Operations from 2005 to 2006, and at VCG, LLC as a Configuration Manager Lead from 1999 to 2005. Jason has experience in developing automated build and release management infrastructure, training and mentoring teams, and implementing software configuration management duties.

Jason Davis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Science (Biology) from the University of Puget Sound in 1993. Jason then pursued a Masters in Business Administration (Technology) from the Pacific Lutheran University - School of Business, completing their degree in 1998.
