Susan Oakes has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as an Associate Underwriter at Program Brokerage Corporation since August 2018. Prior to this role, Susan worked as a CSR in Commercial Lines at DeCotis Specialty Insurance, Inc. from November 2015 to August 2018, and as an Underwriting Technical Assistant at Falvey Cargo Underwriting from January 2014 to September 2015, where responsibilities included underwriting review and documentation management. Earlier in their career, Susan held the position of Shared Services Technician at Beacon Mutual Insurance from 1994 to 2012, providing customer service and administrative support. Susan began their professional journey at USF&G from February 1982 to November 1994 as a Supervisor, overseeing a team of technicians in the claims department. Educationally, Susan graduated from Cranston HS West and completed the Worker's Compensation Course at Roger Williams University.
