Rea Cuaresma has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. In 2007, they were a Dancer for Kaisahan Of San Jose Performing Arts (Official). In 2010, they were a Gymnastic Coach for the City of Vacaville and a Child Life Intern for UC Davis Medical Center. In 2011, they were a Lab Assistant for Spectra Laboratories. In 2013, they were a Lab Assistant for Mothers' Milk Bank and a Research Associate I, Research Associate II, and Sample Accessioning Technician for Vectra. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Clinical Research Associate I and Clinical Research Associate EL for Seer and a Clinical Research Associate EL for PrognomiQ Inc.

Rea Cuaresma earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis between 2009 and 2011.
