Yvonne Nekesa started their work experience in 2020 at OPLAY, where they worked as a customer service representative. In this role, they acted as a customer care agent and debt collector, ensuring clients paid their loans on time. Yvonne also discussed and advised clients on various loan payment options. In addition, Yvonne worked as a sales and marketing intern at OPLAY, where they engaged in marketing and sampling of new products. Yvonne attended activation events, persuading customers to buy various products by providing detailed information. Yvonne reported on the type and number of products sold each day and provided customer feedback to the head office. In 2021, Yvonne joined Profiles International as a sales and marketing intern.

Yvonne Nekesa pursued their Bachelor's degree in Bachelors of Commerce - Marketing from 2016 to 2020 at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
