Stelios Dafermos worked as a Software Engineer at Profile Software from March 2019 onwards. Prior to that, they were a Technical Advisor at the Technical Department of the Ministry of Justice from September 2017 to May 2018. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the maintenance and supplies of electro-mechanical facilities and security systems in Courts and Jail Houses. Stelios also prepared specifications for the supply of various devices and conducted technical inspections of the Main Justice Department Building.

Stelios Dafermos's education history shows that they attended the Alliance for Digital Employability in 2018 to 2019, where they completed a Coding Bootcamp in Java. Prior to that, they studied at the Technical University of Crete from 2003 to 2012, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Production Engineering and Management.

In addition to their formal education, Stelios also holds several certifications. In 2019, they obtained the Software Developer Advanced certificate in Programming Language: JAVA from PeopleCert. Stelios also earned the Software Developer Foundation certificate in Programming Language: JAVA from the same institution in 2019. In 2014, Stelios completed various online courses through edX, including Introduction to Computing with Java, Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science, and Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python.
