Prachi S. has extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership, currently serving as a Platform/Backend Engineer and Technical Leader at Unity since November 2022. Prachi has been actively involved with Women Who Code as a Conference Speaker, Director, Call For Proposal Reviewer, and founder of a Backend Study Group, contributing significantly to mentoring and community engagement in software engineering. Additionally, Prachi volunteers with AnitaB.org, CodePath, and Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, providing mentorship and support in technical skills and career development. Prachi's previous roles includeSenior Software Engineer at Metromile and FIS, with a strong focus on backend engineering, product development, and data systems. Prachi holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and has pursued further education in leadership and project management at the University of California, Berkeley.
