Caden Damiano

Product Lead - Service Experience at ProducePay

Caden Damiano has a diverse work experience in product design and podcast hosting. Starting in 2017, they worked as a Product Design Freelancer at CadenD Interactive LLC, where they diagnosed customer experience issues and designed onboarding experiences for clients such as Cotopaxi, resulting in reduced customer support needs and increased readership of a digital publication. In 2018, they joined FamilySearch as an Associate Product Designer, focusing on designing Chinese genealogy experiences and localized landing pages. Caden also interned on home dashboard and marketing experiences. In 2019, they joined Progressive Leasing as a Product Designer, where they designed a unified lease application experience and authentication microservice. Caden also decreased exit rates in application workflows. In 2021, they worked at Homie as a Senior Product Designer, contributing to transaction and seller side offer tools. Caden also worked at V School as a Guest Instructor for UX/UI/IxD. Since 2018, they have also been hosting "The Way of Product Design" podcast, gaining a substantial following and sharing significant episodes worldwide. Finally, in 2022, they joined ProducePay as a Design Lead, where they lead the research and design of the company's products and services, mentors and coaches designers, and provides overall guidance on customer insights and product strategy.

Caden Damiano has a diverse education history spanning across various fields. They obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Interaction and Digital Product Design from Utah Valley University, graduating cum laude. Caden also pursued additional certifications in UX design from Lynda.com, including Principle for UX Design, Making User Experience Happen as a Team, Sketch for UX Design, UX Design: 1 Overview, UX Design: 3 Creating Personas, UX Design: 4 Ideation, UX Design: 5 Creating Scenarios and Storyboards, UX Design: 6 Paper Prototyping, UX Design: 7 Implementation Planning, and UX Design: 2 Analyzing User Data.

In addition, Caden attended various workshops and conferences to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of design. They participated in the Object-Oriented UX Masterclass with a focus on Information Architecture in 2022-2023. They also completed the Shift Nudge Interface Design Course by MDS (Private Beta Class) in 2020, the Next Level UX - Mapping to Learn course in 2020-2021, and the Front Workshop Series in 2019. Caden attended the Front Conference in 2018, where they studied Product Design & Management, and the XD Immersive Conference in the same year, specializing in Immersive Technology.

Caden also pursued additional learning experiences through online platforms.
