Neil Padgen has a diverse work experience starting in 1991 as a Systems Administrator at the University of Reading. Neil then worked as an IT Administrator at Chernikeeff Networks from 1994 to 1998. From 1998 onwards, they joined BBC Monitoring where they held multiple roles including Team lead, senior developer, Professional Scrum Master, and Specialist. At BBC Monitoring, they introduced new processes and techniques to improve product delivery and led the migration of business units to new technology. In 2016, Neil joined Autodata as the Head of Development, where they managed agile teams and worked closely with the CTO to define and deliver the architectural runway and development roadmap. Neil then joined 2Heads in 2021 as the Digital Technical Head, where they built and led a team to develop an award-winning events application suite and introduced Agile methodologies. In 2022, they became the Head of Engineering at gther before eventually becoming the VP of Technology at Skill Dynamics in 2023.
Neil Padgen attended the University of Reading from 1988 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Maths and Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following:
