Kate OBrien has a wealth of experience in the field of information services and technology. Kate started their career in 1989 as a Sales Representative at Dialog Information Services. In 1994, they moved on to become a Manager of Information Services at McKinsey & Co. Kate then joined Business.com in 1999 as VP Editorial. In 2000, they were VP Operations at DolphinSearch, Inc. and in 2005, they joined Digital Mandate as a Director/Consultant. From 2010 to 2015, they worked at RenewData in various roles, including Analytics Consulting Director, VP of Libreeze Operation, and Director of Product Innovation. Since 2017, they have been a Managing Director at Prism Litigation Technology, providing expert advice and consultation to clients on search strategies and keyword optimization using proprietary language analysis methodologies.

Kate OBrien obtained a BS in Special Education from D'Youville University between 1970 and 1974. Kate then went on to obtain an MS in Information Studies from Syracuse University between 1981 and 1982.
