Phillip Scholtes

Chief Technology Officer at Priority1

Phillip Scholtes has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. In 2007, they started as a Web Developer at The JAY Group, Inc. Following that, from 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Web Developer at BAI.

In 2010, they transitioned to Clarity Consulting as a Consultant, where they managed and coordinated projects for clients such as McDonald's Corporation, Sears, and Microsoft. Phillip stayed with Clarity Consulting until 2015.

From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Director of Engineering at Inuvo, Inc., where they led the development and database teams and was responsible for the analysis, design, and overall architecture of a native ad delivery and advertising technology platform.

Starting in 2017, they established their own business, Phillip Scholtes, LLC, as Principal Consultant and Owner. In this role, they managed customer relationships, contracts, project budgets, timelines, and deliverables for their full stack web development studio.

In 2018, they also worked as an Instructor at the Arkansas Coding Academy, teaching a full stack .NET web development course to aspiring IT professionals.

Phillip'smost recent position is as Vice President of Technology at Priority1, where they have been since June 2020. Before that, they held the role of Director of Technology from August 2018 to June 2020.

Throughout their career, Phillip Scholtes has demonstrated expertise in web development, project management, and technology leadership.

Phillip Scholtes earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems from the University of Arkansas, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In September 2016, they became a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate. Phillip obtained their Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, Web Applications certification in October 2013, along with the Microsoft Certified Professional certification. In September 2013, they also achieved the Microsoft Specialist certification in Programming in HTML5 with Javascript and CSS3.
