Dan Gillis PharmD BCPS is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Princeton Baptist Medical Center since August 2023, focusing on antimicrobial stewardship and infectious diseases. As Executive Director of the Alabama Society of Health-System Pharmacists Inc since November 2020, Dan contributes to the professional development of pharmacists within the state. Previously, Dan served as Area Manager of Pharmacy Education for Ascension from December 2018 to July 2020, providing training and competency development for pharmacy staff. From August 2015 to December 2018, Dan was the Coordinator of Pharmacy Professional Education at St. Vincent’s Health System, where leadership in the new PGY-1 pharmacy residency program achieved six-year accreditation. Dan's extensive experience includes a previous role as Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Princeton Baptist Medical Center, where successful management initiatives resulted in significant clinical and financial improvements. Dan earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from Samford University and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Auburn University.
