Chavelle Liu serves as Vice Chair for the General Practice Students Network and Medical Students Officer at the University of Queensland Union, with current roles as a Perfusionist at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Chavelle has a strong background in medical innovation as the COO and Project Lead for Project Dream at Monash Young MedTech Innovators, which focuses on developing a sleeping device to reduce the risk of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI). Previous experience includes roles as a Business & Strategy Intern at Heidi Health, Project Consultant and Team Leader at 180 Degrees Consulting, and various positions in retail and pharmacy. Chavelle Liu is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Queensland after completing a Bachelor of Commerce/Biomedical Science at Monash University.
