Christa Strout, MSIT, CIC, RRT-NPS, LSSBB, currently serves as the Director of Quality & Infection Prevention at UVA Health, a position held since December 2020. With a robust background in infection control, Christa has previously worked as an Infection Control Practitioner at Inova Health System and Temple University Health System. Earlier experience includes leadership roles such as Director of Respiratory Therapy at Acute Pulmonary Rehab and various positions as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at notable healthcare facilities like Cancer Treatment Centers of America and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Academically, Christa holds a Master of Science in Informatics from Southern New Hampshire University, a Bachelor's degree in Health Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care from Northern Virginia Community College, and an AA in General Studies from MiraCosta College.
