Adam Chapman is a highly experienced Principal Scientist at Primrose Bio since September 2023, with a robust background in purification development and downstream processing acquired during previous roles at Ligand Pharmaceuticals and Pfenex Inc. Adam held the position of Group Leader for Purification Development at Ligand Pharmaceuticals and served as a Senior Scientist and Protein Purification Scientist at Pfenex Inc. Prior experience includes development roles at Dyax, Sanofi Pasteur, Acambis, and BD Biosciences, where Adam specialized in designing purification processes, utilizing Design of Experiments methodologies, and optimizing chromatography techniques. Educational qualifications include a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego and an MS in Engineering Management from Tufts University.
