Iryna Gershun, MD, is a seasoned professional in pharmacovigilance with an extensive background in drug safety and clinical trials. Currently serving as a Senior Global Pharmacovigilance Physician at PrimeVigilance since June 2022, Iryna previously held positions at ERGOMED as a Sr. Pharmacovigilance Physician, Labcorp Drug Development as a Global Patient Safety Project Manager, and AstraZeneca as the Head of Drug Safety and Medical Information for Ukraine and Frontier Markets. Iryna's earlier roles include Drug Safety Manager and Specialist at AstraZeneca, as well as expert positions in pharmacology at Arterium and various clinical trial roles at SPRI Clinical Trials. Iryna holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Vinnitsa National Pirogov Memorial Medical University and attended Crest School of English in London.
