Sandip Samanta is an accomplished Project Manager at Primetals Technologies, leading teams in Engineering, Project delivery, and R&D since April 2023. Previously, as Head of Engineering at Farrat and Head of Technology and Innovation at Primetals Technologies, Sandip successfully achieved financial targets and designed an innovation roadmap through collaboration with senior management. Prior roles include Product Lifecycle Manager and Product Owner at Siemens VAI, where comprehensive oversight of steel and aluminium production solutions and efficient project management was emphasized. Sandip also has experience as Lead Engineer and Systems Engineer in automation for large-scale projects at VAI and NELCO, respectively. Academically, Sandip holds an M. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an MBA Essentials certificate from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
