Pete Torres has over 25 years of experience in sales and business development. Pete started their career as a Sales Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company, where they sold electrical power distribution and control equipment. Pete then moved on to Automatic Switch Company, where they were responsible for sales and support of power generation systems. After that, they worked at Nixon Power Services as a Sales Manager, managing a team and achieving significant sales growth. Pete later joined Southern Company Energy Solutions as a Project Developer, where they developed power generation projects. Pete then worked at Pro Power Solutions as a Sales Manager, focusing on sales of Generac Power Systems. Most recently, they worked at Prime Power Services, Inc as the Director of Business Development, where they led sales and marketing efforts and managed key client accounts.
Pete Torres completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University, which they attended from 1982 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications including the Dupree College of Management Mid-Management Program from the Georgia Institute of Technology in January 2000, and a Certificate in Sales Advantage Program from Dale Carnegie Training in January 1999.
