Vahbiz Jokhi has extensive work experience in the scientific and medical research field. Vahbiz is currently working as a Scientist Neuromuscular at Prime Medicine, Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they had various roles at Harvard University, including Charles A. King Trust Postdoctoral Fellow from September 2020 to March 2022, and Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2016 to March 2022. Vahbiz also worked as a Graduate Student at the University of Massachusetts Medical School from September 2010 to May 2016. Earlier in their career, they served as a CSIR-JRF (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research- Junior Research Fellow) at the Tata Memorial Hospital- Advanced Center for Training, Research and Education in Cancer from 2009 to 2010, and as a Research Assistant at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre from April 2008 to August 2008.

Vahbiz Jokhi completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology from Jai Hind College, University of Mumbai from 2004 to 2007. Vahbiz then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biotechnology from the Institute of Science, University of Mumbai, graduating in 2009. Vahbiz then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neuroscience from UMass Chan Medical School, starting in 2010 and completing their studies in 2016.
