Mike N. has a diverse work experience with a focus on cyber risk and compliance. Mike is currently working as the Director of Cyber Risk and Compliance at Prime Insurance Company since April 2023. Before that, they worked as a GRC Security Manager at Prosper Marketplace from November 2022 to February 2023. From November 2020 to October 2022, Mike was employed at Daxko as an Information Security Manager/Compliance Specialist. Prior to that, they served as a GRC Analyst/Information Security Analyst at Shift4 Payments from August 2017 to November 2020. Before transitioning into the field of cybersecurity, Mike worked as a Professional Poker Player from February 2012 to January 2017. Mike also has prior experience as a Systems Trainer at Vegas.com from December 2010 to October 2011, and as a Trainer/Project Manager at Tech Results from October 2008 to December 2010.

Mike N. attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in Management. In 2017, they also obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council. In 2020, Mike obtained two additional certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA.
