Samir Desai is a finance professional with extensive experience in strategic finance and corporate development. Currently, Samir works at Hudson River Trading in a strategic finance role since June 2023 and serves as an advisor for fintech at Primary Venture Partners since July 2023. Previously, Samir held the position of Director of Strategic Finance and Partnerships at Unit from May 2022 to May 2023, and advised on strategic finance for Fiat Ventures from August 2021 to May 2022. Notably, Samir spent nearly four years at Chime, progressing from Manager to Director of Strategic Finance and also serving as Senior Manager of Finance. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Sift and J.P. Morgan, where Samir began as an Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group. Samir holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Psychology from Duke University, completed in 2013, and graduated from Dulaney High School in 2009.
